a fitness competition
Who Are We?
The Student Association of Military Osteopathic Physicians and Surgeons (SAMOPS) at Pacific Northwest University of Health Sciences is our military medicine club which is home to Health Professions Scholarships Program (HPSP) students who will one day provide medical care to the people serving our country.
About The CrossFit Competition
Join PNWU SAMOPS for the Hero Challenge: a fitness competition! Taking into consideration the health and safety of our community, we are hosting this online event that still allows participants to compete against friends, family, and neighbors in the comfort and safety of their own home or backyard. This competition is open to all, regardless of a participates past experience with CrossFit. Workouts will be posted on our website weekly and will be able to be performed with limited to no equipment! Some workouts will highlight heroes who have paid the ultimate sacrifice. A leaderboard will be posted on our website showing how participants rank against others based on age, gender, experience with CrossFit, etc. Please visit pnwuwarriorrun.com to register today!

We are medical students and military officers who are part of the Health Professional Scholarship Program and are training to become physicians. We will train concurrently to become the best physicians and soldiers we can, to serve our nation. Upon graduation we will then report on active duty to our respective branches in the armed forces. Check out the videos on the next page to learn more about military medicine.
